Citicorp Plaza, located near Chicago's O'Hare airport, is a vibrant office campus composed of three buildings linked by an aerial concourse. Built in the early 1980s and remodeled once previously, the complex appeared dated with its monochromatic brick floor, dull beige walls and lack of focal points prior to the renovation.

To liven the public spaces and provide definition to the architectural components, new finishes were installed throughout, including the elevator cabs. Brightly colored large scale digital photo murals and coordinating furnishings were incorporated into each lobby, clearly differentiating each building.
